Hands of Providence’s RESIDENTIAL HOUSE FOR BOYS
The boys’ residential home was opened in January 2019. It is the only center in the Korca region that offers services for orphaned, abused, or trafficked children who have undergone unthinkable situations during their young lives. We cannot discuss the severity of their situations. The home provides a safe family environment for these children to live in. The staff reflects the love of Jesus Christ by caring for their spiritual, emotional, physical, and educational needs. Currently 8 boys, ages 6-16, live in the orphanage, but the home can house up to 15 boys depending of their age. Every child in the center can stay until the age of 18. Even though it is extremely expensive to provide a residential home for boys, Pastor Plator saw beyond the expense and trusted God to provide.
Thank you for supporting the Residential Home by participating in this fundraiser painting class.
Hands of Providence’s DAY CARE CENTER
In 2011, Pastor Plator started a Day Center in a home in Sovjan Albania for poor, orphaned, and abused children. Currently there are 42 children who go to this Day Care Center. After school, the children come to the Day Center for a hot meal, shower, homework tutoring, laundry, games, and lots of love.
These children look so happy and content when they are with the staff of the Day Care Center. All of the children attend Bible Camps during the summer and the Saturday children’s program at the Libonik church.
Thank you for supporting this Day Care Center by participating in the fundraiser painting class.
