Aspiring Artists® students were invited to display their artwork at the United Nations Spouses Bazaar on June 13, 2013. Each participating family gave a donation to put their child’s artwork in the exhibit.  Some children also agreed to sell their artwork for the fundraiser. All proceeds went to benefit Active Intervention for Mothers and U.N.I.C.E.F. Active Intervention for Mothers (A.I.M.) is dedicated to improving women’s health, so they can have healthy pregnancies and live births in Mali, Africa  .U.N.I.C.E.F. is dedicated to children’s relief efforts all over the world which “promote the rights and well being of every child. ”Aspiring Artists® was given an  award of appreciation from Amalle Daou, founder of A.I.M. and wife to former Ambassador of Mali, for raising over $1500. for these efforts.
