Class Description:

Students, grades 1-8, will have the opportunity to create a unique holiday composition for Christmas. Students will hand-paint wooden cutouts of the nativity, Star of Bethlehem, and angels. The hand-painted wooden pieces will be glued on a hand-painted canvas board featuring a decorative evening sky. The finished piece will be a wonderful addition to your holiday decorations.

Class location & pickup:

• Dates: Tuesday, Dec 1st
• Time: 2:40-4:00pm (directly after school)
• Location: St. Rose Grammar School
• Pick up: Instructor will bring students to the main lobby of St. Rose at 4pm. Please pick up your child at the front door of St. Rose at 4pm, unless your child is attending St. Rose aftercare.

Class materials:

• Canvas board, wooden nativity, wooden star, wooden angels, acrylic paint.

Class preparation:

• Please bring a medium sized box, such as a pizza box, to transport the wet painting home. The artwork is 11 inches x 14 inches, so any box that fits that size will work.
• Acrylic paints stain clothes so please provide a smock that will fully protect the school uniform from paint stains. Fitted plastic smocks provide the best protection.
